how to change the gear shift knob on a 2000  f150 ( manual transmission ) The shifter knob is glued on. to get it off  take the button cap off the top. cut the plastic off the side from the top dawn with a kniff and then break away hard plastic  with pliers until u get it off the shifter lever. 


a few tips on how not to remove shifter knob   do not use -sawsall - hammer - explosives
